The student must hand the egg back to the teacher with no breakage to receive full credit after the first drop. Student will receive two grades for this activity. One for the actual drop and another for the lab report. The teacher will issue non-breakage awards for the smallest device, most elaborate design, and the most drops without breakage. On the day of the competition students will receive a lab sheet to record data and make calculations. The calculations include acceleration, velocity, speed, force, momentum, kinetic energy, and potential energy.
