So often, it is heard that student athletes spend years in one of the traditional sports and maybe "see the field" in only their junior or senior year. Some players are only on teams in name only. There is not anything wrong with that if that is what a player wants. But welcome to a game with a smaller team roster. Different skill sets are needed. Lacrosse is not geared toward any one physical attribute. One does not need to be overly big or strong. Will it still take work and dedication? Absolutely! Want to try a new sport?
